Maui #2

Lucky little Henry went on his second trip to Maui in March. First time he was two months old for a family wedding. This time we went with two other families - 3 kids all under 2. We had a great time. We rented a house which worked out great. Lots of beach time, swimming in the pool, shaved ice, good food and playing. There was a tourist train that went right by the house - the kids loved it. It officially started Henry's obsession with trains. Henry was also obsessed with his ukulele during the week we were there. Overall, a really great trip with great friends. Can't wait to go back.

Henry was a power napper - took 3hr+ naps every day. He insisted on taking his ukulele to bed though.

Love him in orange!

Henry trying to pull his friends, Noelle and Bailey, after being pulled by one of the dads.

After Henry got his ukulele, they all had to have one.

The group

This kid loves playing with hoses (or water of any sort really).

Found a great kid-friendly beach with a shallow section protected from the waves. Kids loved it!

Acting cool and casual with Noelle.

Splashing with Bailey. Lucky little man to get to hang out with two such cuties!

After our train ride. He loved it!

Kid loved the beach. Not so sure of the water though. He made us go get buckets full of water for him to play in.

He did this on his own and sat for quite a while like this. He loves music/dance.

Blowing Bubbles

Henry loves bubbles. Spent some time in the backyard practicing our bubble blowing recently. Love the look he gives me after he succeeds in blowing one! And he keeps trying.

Applause Please

Henry has always loved music and guitars and on our recent trip to Maui discovered a guitar just his size - a ukulele! We brought one home with us and he loves playing on it and singing songs for us. And when he does he lets us know how he feels about his performance...

OCD Child

Not sure how it happened, but Henry is quite the little OCD child. He loves things being clean, hates his hands being dirty, loves helping to pick up/put away things. One of his fav activities is sweeping (and he usually insists I do it with him as well, which is cute except at 630 in the morning). If a cupboard is open or latch is open, it must be closed. Enjoying it while we can, cause I'm pretty sure it won't last forever.

Here is a video of Henry singing our clean up song. Listen carefully, and you can hear "Clean up, clean up, everybody do your share..."

Laughing and Catching Up

Sorry we've been a little MIA. Lots of posts to come to get caught up. Here is one of Henry laughing up a storm at silly daddy. Love making this little boy laugh!
