Henry's First Trip to Disneyland!

Last weekend Henry got to visit Disneyland for the first time. We went with Grammy, Papa, Uncle Greg and Auntie Amy. It was the first time we had all been when it was decorated for Christmas, which was amazing. We had a great time showing Henry all the Disney magic. He got to meet Santa, went on Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise and It's a Small World and spent a lot of time people watching.

Henry's first set of ears!

Henry's first picture with Santa - he did great - no crying, all smiles.

A little bigger than his doggies at home.

Henry making everyone laugh in line with his silly noises.

Jungle boat cruise.

Last ride of the day - It's a Small World. Henry was tired but he liked it.

Can't wait to go back!

6 Months Old!

Hard to believe but Henry is 6 months old! It has gone by so fast but it has been amazing being mommy and daddy to our active, happy, healthy baby boy. Here are some pics from his 6 month birthday.

Such a big boy. He loves sitting up!

Like everything else right now, straight to the mouth.

Henry's First Halloween

Henry has had a lot of firsts lately - first ear infection, first tooth, first time sitting up...and first Halloween.

Here are some great shots of him playing with pumpkin guts.

Henry's class held a Halloween parade to show off all their great costumes. Well, at least Henry's great costume. He's the youngest in the class, but you couldn't tell in these photos.

learning to crawl

Baby boy has moved on from scooting and is ready to make his move as a crawler. Here's some shots from a photo shoot we did the other day. He's got most of the mechanics there, just hasn't yet put them together. The big next step will be moving his arms to move forward.

scary, since this house is no where near babyproofed.

active Henry loves to scoot

We've neglected the blog lately...

Henry has been getting over his first real cold (thanks to day care) for the past couple weeks. But he hasn't lost his trademark smile and happy disposition!

On Friday he stayed home from school and figured he would have some fun moving around the house...

First I found Henry off his mat, couldn't figure out how he got there!
Then little man starts scooting backward, and having a great time with it
Here he has made it all the way to the guest bathroom (looks like he is planking in this one)
He almost made it to his bedroom before pooping out. He then took a long nap.

Here's a couple videos of the action:

Henry visits Salt Lake

Henry paid a visit to Salt Lake City this past weekend and finally got to meet two of his great-grandmas, his great aunt and some family friends. The whirlwind tour included his first visit to the mountains and sightseeing at all the places where his dad grew up.
Henry and his look of concern. Wondering what on earth his ancestors were thinking...
Meeting his great Grandma Kay. She's 95 and has been waiting all her life to meet him. She was beside herself with joy (she even said so several times).

Just missing my dad for 4 generations of Danas and Wonnacotts

Henry's first trip to the mountains, he was asleep for it. Turns out a drive up to the top of Millcreek Canyon was just enough to get him to sleep through the toothing pain and remaining concern over the temple visit.
