Trick or Treat

Henry's second halloween. For trick or treating we went for costume #2 - a dinosaur. With this costume he refused to wear the head. Should have know better. Fun night with friends in Redondo Beach.

Powering up before all the action.

Our attempt to get a picture of all the kids together. Ha.

Smiles only after he found buttons on the stereo he wanted to play with.

One of Henry's friends, Noelle, was a big fan of his tail. She kept grabbing it and snuggling it. Henry was not a fan.

Love the tail.

Daddy didn't want the head to go to waste...

After carrying him to a few houses he finally started to get the hang of it. He would go up grab a piece (or two) of candy and then drop it in the bag. Built a pretty good stash for mommy.

Awesome costume! Henry was unsure at first but he wanted the candy more.

Towards the end he finally wanted to walk/run around after I had carried him to almost every house.

Our little dino.

Our very pooped trick or treater.

New Animal Noises (and some other noises too)

Pumpkin Patch

Once again our parent and me class did a trip to the pumpkin patch. This year, Henry went as a little undercover superhero, Clark Kent. He has glasses that he refused to keep on (our attempts to get a pic below). He had fun drumming on the pumpkins, watching the pony ride (although he refused to actually ride the pony when we tried), and playing in the hay. A fun evening!

Our Little Owl

Henry now has one of those "See & Say" toys that we all had has kids (you pull the lever and the arrow lands on an animal and makes the noise). He loves dancing to the songs it plays and has started to imitate some of the animal noises. His favorite right now is the barn owl...

More

Despite us not being dedicated to doing the "baby sign language" Henry picked it up (smart little bugger he is). He does the sign for more and does the all done sign. He verbalizes what he wants as well but neat to see him do the signs. In this video, I was being goofy and making him laugh and he asked for "more."

Recent Picture Roundup

Some recent photos of the little man...

Loved the merry-go-round at the LA Zoo.

He grabbed this book and climbed into the chair all by himself.

Then proceeded to "read" for 5 minutes - which considering how energetic he is, is a loooong time to sit still in one place.

Watching the Shuttle Endeavour land at LAX.
