This is a little overdue but here are some shots from the professional photographer we had come when Henry was about two weeks old. Henry decided he wanted to be awake the entire time so there aren't any of the traditional sleepy baby shots but we love his eyes so I'm okay with that.

Henry took a little time off for some much needed R&R. The great news is that we have tons of fun photos and "firsts" to share over the next couple days.

Here's the happy boy doing his best Great Cornholio impression. I don't think his mother will like the nickname of Beavis, so I am not even going to try.

Movie in the Park

In Sacramento, we had Screen on the Green. Here in LA, we have Movie in the Moonlight in the neighborhood next to us, Playa Vista. It was a really nice night out. They had some great food trucks out beforehand (including the best fried chicken we've ever had and Sprinkles cupcakes), lots of families came out and we saw the first half of Social Network - Henry decided we would need to finish it another night.

Brendan's First Father's Day

Jen here. I have posting duties while Brendan is in SF for the night. Only seems fair though that he doesn't post his own Father's Day post. We had a nice quiet day just the three of us to celebrate. Brendan made brunch and dinner (he insisted on doing the cooking I swear), we had a picnic in Griffith Park and skyped with my family in Sac who were all together celebrating. All in all a pretty nice first father's day. Here are a few pics from the day.



Brendan thought it would be fun to try and put Henry on his shoulder's for the first time - fun until Henry took his crazy strong grip to Brendan's hair.
